Mostly maintaining right now btu think I might see if I can start moving slowly again.

I was wondering did you try the Gerry's bread? I get mine delivered fortnightly and it freezes really well, it has been a lifesaver for me, makes my carbs easy to manage. Take care Linda

Hey Linda how are you doing 😊 What is the Gerry’s bread I saw you mention it a couple of times I don’t usually buy bread if I do I get the vogels very thin whole grains one. Most of my carbs come from vegetables and legumes. Unless I’m feeling naughty and get some baked treat lol

I have to say that I do not like Vogel's Keto bread very much, but love Gerrys, it had a great flavour and freezes for 12 months, so no rush to eat it. Gerry's has slightly lower Carb too, higher protein and has 42 calories less per sandwich. I am all for watching my nutrients, but I thought I would not like Gerry's, as soon as I tasted it, I knew it was much better for me. Vogel tends to dry out and crumble. It is just, that it is nice to have other peoples opinion of the bread, as I thought you said that you were going to try it. I must of got you confused, with someone else sorry. You are doing a perfect job as always. I am doing well, and feeling much better in myself. The world is in so much turmoil lately,for me it is nice to have a purpose each day, to try my best to be as active as I can. Stay well...Linda

I’m not sure if it was me @linda. Also don’t do the keto diet or any of the trendy diets. My usual dinner is pasta 😍lately I’m vegan so it would be impossible for me to even get enough protein to manage keto. I just focused on removing processed food and not denying myself anything. I avoid too many sweets and junk carbs but I eat what I want. I needed to find a way to eat the correct amount of calories and not further restrict myself by saying what I could or could not have I guess was my take. I haven’t ever tried keto bread so I’m not sure how it even tastes I’ve seen the vogels kind it’s like $8-9 I do tend to not pick up a loaf of bread often or I late night snack on bits of toast 😂

I am exactly the same as you, in regard to diet, it is a way of life for me, and the high protein bread and fibre bread helps me get to a decent level of nutrition, and I never snack, I never have. I just like to have my eggs on something and I like to make sure that I am getting the right amount of nutrients, as I do tend to under-eat because of digestion problems, I am allergic to so many things. @kristie hi I just added 500 cals to what I was eating to slow down the weight loss. I will probably reduce a little again now so I can keep moving albeit a little slower to my goal.

@lindaname private, thanks for posting about Gerry's. Like @anon00 I have the occasional Vogel's Very Thin - hadn't heard of Gerry's. Ordered myself a taster pack of bread, buns & rolls... arrived this arvo... and just had a salad roll for dinner. Yum! Nice to have soft bread! Think there'll be a sandwich for lunch tomorrow. 😋

@DottyGumboots yeah it freezes really well too, just watch the fibre, it can make a few toilet trips necessary. I love the sesame buns they are so tasty and hold together extremely well. I even slice the bun into 3 or 4 slices and use them for a pizza base, it feels a little naughty, but the low carbs help with weight loss for me. As i need to watch all my nutrients as I cannot exercise like other mortals, so this bread makes my nutrients balance better. Thanks for trying the bread, it is the nutrients in it that won me over, very healthy, roll on breakfast....Linda
