There is so much good stuff on you tube and the rest of the net on the Keto low carb diet. I have been on it for a very short time and no cravings

Thanks Lizzie. I did try Keto but didn't like it. I felt sick and I want to feel healthy while I'm doing it which I do with the low carb. Good news is I'm still been consistent :).

Hey Guys. Last time I tried Keto, I thought it was low carb, high fat. The amount of extra fat I was eating made me feel sick. Unless I have the concept wrong? At the moment I'm low carb, high protein. It definitely works (lost 10kg on it a few years back and didn't put it back on) it just gets a bit boring. I'm only looking to lose another 2-3kg but they are the most stubbon kilo's ever! I do Tabatta alternated with cardio 6 days a week and am pretty active.

Keto is NOT high fat if you are trying to lose weight. Think H for Healthy fat.
And it is moderate protein. The body can convert protein to glucose which prevents weight loss.
So set carbs ( eg 20g net) and protein (eg 70g) and then eat just enough fat to stop hunger pangs. Don't set a minimum fat level. If the body gets too much fat from your diet, it won't burn body fat.
I get fat from nuts, avocado, cream, 90% chocolate, cheese. I don't find my food boring, and I definitely don't feel deprived!
So you probably are on a Keto diet at the moment. I would look at lowering the protein to force the body to use those extra kilos as fuel...

Yes the aim with keto is to train your body into burning fat instead of carbs. I have found getting the fats easy enough but do find it a bit tricky to get the carbs low enough and still get what seems enough vegies. But I have been using the calculator only 2 days so I expect that to change
