Man I am over this Keto bullshit. What a joke - I've followed this to the freaking letter for weeks. I've lost weight but at a minimal amount. My success rate was a lot higher on the high protein diet and it was a lot less work than forcing extra fat (be it good or bad) into your body.

I'm officially going on record to say, Keto - you suck balls - nothing more than a fad and 'the emporers new clothes'.

And don't even start on me on those bullshit sticks that I've been peeing on to watch their urine little soaked faces come up pink one more time (no matter how much Í"m working it). Purple? pfffffffffffffffffttttttttttttttttttttt. May as well have a unicorn printed on it. If your succeeding getting a purple face - I salute you.

This 'diet'more than any other has had me put all my toys out of the cot.

If you've been on a proper Keto diet for several weeks and have gained weight, then you must have been over eating too many calories.... No diet is going to work if you eat too much.

You shouldn't be eating so much extra fat during weight loss. You are trying to burn body fat. Calories do matter. Keto does work when applied correctly.

I feel you bro, Keto worked a little for me, I followed to the letter not to many calories yada yada. Fact is the diet works. FOR THE MAJORITY. Some people it just doesn’t work that well. I’ve made a lot of progress in 3 weeks by simply eating clean and watch my calories (plus working out like a maniac but that’s a mental health thing)

Shaun - I have researched put to the hilt and 100% followed a proper diet. Is 1275 calaroies really too much _ not according to the keto formula I followed. I’m definitely not eating too much so that’s not the issue.

Hi Shaun, I have struggled on most diets....and there I think is the reason ...I applied a lifestyle change which includes slowly increasing exercise each day and I am now starting to see some results. I have also struggled to get the balance right for keto so have taken the aproach to graph a reducing calorie intake whist I calorie count. fingers crossed for us.

Hi 7inchdiff.... Glad to hear you're getting results... I done a similar thing to you... I went on no particular special diet, just changed my foods to about 60% fresh green veges, 20% unprocessed meat, and 20% fresh fruit.... Basically 99% unprocessed foods except unsweetened low fat yoghurt..... No bread, pasta, potato, kumara.... No cane sugar..... Gone from 104kg in mid February to 85kg, and still losing a lot of weight.... An Exercycle in front of the television has been great in the wet Autumn.

Yes, 1275 calories was too much for me. Had to cut to about 1100 - and then the weight just dropped off like magic.

Thanks shaun for your comments. I hope I have the same great results you have had. I've just completed a 3 km walk between rain showers, I'm trying to get up to 10000 steps per day, so far only 4349. Oh well, it's still only 1pm so maybe still time,☺

Don’t know much about Keto and don’t know what you eat but I have seen some friends following Keto and eating bacon because fat is good ?? Not sure it can work to put down the scale. My theory is Keto has been diverted too much from origin and unfortunately turned into something not good for people and even if I believe that good fat is good as avocado, salmon...Positive calories (The food you eat) and negatives calories (workouts, calories burned) should always be balanced. Don’t give up, you know now you are able to stick to a diet, adapt a little bit your diet like Shaun and Jaybee. You can do it 👍
