Just having the under Armour logo prob got them a lot of people also...  

As CB said, many in the US like to stick with popular brands. Even my own kid is harassing me about Nike and Under Armour 😖. I had considered MFP first because I’d read that it supported activity trackers. If there was a way to link any tracker or tracking app to my FS app I would gladly pay a small fee. Not a lot as it’s not that hard to enter it in but it would be a nice small convenience. I think a duffel bag would work better than the string kind. You could keep it simple with basic colors and maybe 2-3 sizes is all (if the site offers a duffel in the future). Another idea, if possible, would be to promote certain colors of shirts for special months. Such as pink for breast cancer in October. You could do for things like all the diseases and awareness months. Even maybe one with a small tree for Christmas or change the round logo just a bit to make it a Christmas ornament shape. BTW, love this app!  

Peeperjj which type of tracker do you have? We've found that the majority of them will sync to Apple Health or Google Fit, and from there, you can get your tracked data into FS. Not the preferred way but it gets an outcome for now. Miband is the only one that doesn't seem to share with anyone (yet) 

@cannboys, i had a work colleague start using MyFitnessPal yesterday, even though I was talking up FatSecret. His main reason was aesthetics. He just didn't like the look of FS. Personally, I don't mind FatSecret not directly integrating with step trackers, but pulling the step data from the Health app on iOS would be an improvement. I separately use the Nokia Health Mate app for weight/body fat/blood pressure/steps tracking. It's a great looking app. Unfortunately it doesn't pull the calorie data FatSecret writes to Health app into it's dashboard, instead it seems to have Partner Apps (including MyFitnessPal) for doing that kind of integration. 

My first 12 months here, I kept comparing our app to trying to track your food in an excel spreadsheet. Hardly inspiring :) I’ve been pushing our designer to reach further. We’ve got a few things in the pipeline that will at least make us feel like MS Office :p More data on the exercise tracking front is definitely an area I want to get back to. We initially went for the data that’s common to all trackers but that’s the wrong approach. Most people stay with just one tracker so we should pull in as much as we can get. 

I actually have a hand written spreadsheet that I input data from FS! It lets me compare different things on different pages and keep a running log for the last 7 months (by week and by month). I have a 3PLUS lite. For some reason there’s an issue with it and Apple health. Sometimes Apple health loads the data once, up to 12 times repeating (for a 200,000 step day 😳) or not at all. It doesn’t log sleep or calories burned, just steps and distance but it rarely accurate. Apple health loads my nutrition information from FS. Having them all match up would be nice but not necessary. As you can surely tell by my hand written spreadsheets, I can easily input the data myself but having everything link accurately would be a nice feature. 😁 

Thanks for the info. I didn't know you can sync Google with garmin. I had to download strava to do it though. Hopefully that works good and gets the right info into FS. 

It didn't work with steps and calories burned, only activities. Still looking on how to sync to Google fit from garmin....  

Interesting to know. Garmin is probably the next new tracker we’ll pick up but won’t be until 2019. We’re trying to expand our team atm to be able to build more, but finding app developers that match our needs is challenging.

Wow, so so so many choices. I think I like the champion and horizon ones best. With 3 kids it seems at least one goes with me. All those pockets would be nice for swimsuits, keys/phone, locker key/gym card etc. The men probably don’t care about pockets. It more the dimensions to make sure everything fits in the main pocket ;).

I cant wear the shirts as they will still be too small for me. I admit even if it fitted I wouldn’t buy it because it looks a bit boring. An idea would be to decide on two or three slogans and add this to the printing on some of the merchandise. For example a Travel mug with the wording, I don’t count calories FatSectret does it for me. Or a Shirt with the wording, I am moving and FatSectret is counting.
