my wife loves those yogurts.

What is the difference between Greek yogurt and regular? I love Chobani but haven’t seen the zero calorie in my town yet. Dannon lite Greek, zero calorie, and 12 grams of protein are really good!

regular yogurt tends to have fewer calories and more calcium, Greek yogurt has more protein and less sugar

I have been using plain greek yogourt and just adding flavors - I have gained a taste for plain yogourt now and every other flavoured type is overwhelmingly too sweet - enough to set my teeth on edge. I like the plain - because it is versatile and can be used in cooking and as sour cream. (No artificial sweeteners or sugars)

I had just found that, too.

I decided to try eating cottage cheese with pineapple. I did for lunch & my sugars were low. I just took some more and now my sugar has jumped to 213. I didn't realize that it would be so bad.

I’ve tried a new kind for me. It’s the 0% Fage. I flavor it myself. Either w stevia, unsweetened cocoa powder and sugar free maple syrup or Stevia, tsp honey, cinnamon and nutmeg. Your fruit looks divine!

I’ve been making my own again lately and I strain it overnight to make it Greek yogurt. I don’t use a lot of sweetener, mostly fruit or sometimes chocolate syrup

I prefer plain Greek yogurt because it's so versatile. I use it as a sub for sour cream, use it as a base for salad dressings and eat it as a quick source of low calorie protein. I have always felt that the preserves in the bottom of yogurt is way to sweet. I prefer to use real fruit as a sweetener...

I buy 6 to 8 Fage 0 a week. 18 gr protein for 90 cals is tough to beat. I buy others too. Two Good Meyer Lemon and Oikos triple zero lemon, sweetened with Reb M (the currently hottest of the steviol glycosides).

5ft5 -- Greek yogurt has been strained, so it's thicker, and a cup of it has more protein in it. We make our own whole milk Greek yogurt, and I find it doesn't generally need any sweetener if I have it with fruit. I'll often throw in some sweeter fruit, such as banana or grapes or apples, if the berries I have are a little tart. Or I can put in a half teaspoon or teaspoon of sugar if I'm really craving sweet, and it's still far less sweetener than the sweetened store-bought yogurts. If you buy plain instead of flavored, you get a lot more control over what's in it
