CrashtestDawnie's Journal, 13 Dec 18

So I haven’t weighed in for a few days. I’ve been eating nothing but junk. So tired and off my game after not only my trip but 2 bouts of vertigo. I need to grocery shop and food prep and find time to exercise but just haven’t made the time with my work schedule. I got like 5 gatherings/ parties to attend over the next 2 weeks so I know I can’t commit to a really diet plan 😩 ugggghhhh stressssssssss

I, too have BPPV but haven't had an attack in awhile (knock on wood). It's debilitating! Just take it one day at a time and enjoy the parties. You know what to do. My problem is..I know what to do but I chose not to. Shame on me! =/ Hang in there!

Agreed. This time of year is tough. Easy to get run down and sick.

CrashtestDawnie and Koolbeanz, have you tried the exercise for Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo? My husband has it as well. It has worked for him on most occurrences. Sit on your bed or yoga mat with your feet in front of you as if you were going to lie down. Make sure you have a pillow where your head will land. Fold your arms Mortisha Adams style across your chest, turn your head to the right and slowly lower yourself down until you are lying flat. You may feel like you are going to passout, but you won't. Repeat with your head now turned to the left.

I feel you! I have the same problem. Too many parties. I'm just going to take the hit and 'recover'. I do have a firm date (January 2nd).

of course you can commit to a diet. there's no gun to your head saying you have to eat rubbish at a party. we are doing a BBQ today for our custys, $2000 worth of food here and im still having tuna rice and veg for lunch. it's a choice and your choosing to indulge, own it and move on next week 👍

Come on now. You are important in so many ways and you are so worth the time to take care of YOU!

Hang in there - the holidays will be over soon so just do the best you can until then - you can do this and it is a long term thing!

Yes the Epley move helped! Usually I’m only sick for an hour and then I’m back to normal. Monday morning it happened and I was out of balance until 8 pm! I felt fine after a did the Epley move a second time.

Keith I sure Can commit but I really don’t have a big enough desire to do so. I’m a big baby and I’m trading my health for cookies like some kind of junkie 😔
