Thank you, Wifey & Tatauu! I like this area in our yard cause it feels like a secluded oasis.

Oh it is so beautiful! Wow! I'd love to see every bit... A bit closer! Maintaining all of it must be a challenge for sure!!! How close are you to the river. As in, is it easy to hear? I object to there not being enough pictures! 😁 And I am sorry I miss your posts sometimes. It takes me a while!

Mellisa, our home is on a hill that goes down to the river. We can see it from the windows at the back of our house & hear it as well. We have stairs so that we can walk down to reach the water. We are on 2.25 acres of wooded property that was cleared in spots when the house was built. There is a fair amount of upkeep that is different than a city property. Mowing requires a brush cutter along our drive and it's hilly. We love it here but it's harder for Hubby to look after as he's gotten older. I do a lot of the work around the house because it's been developed into garden areas.

Well it looks beautiful, and how you speak of it makes me imagine how pretty and peaceful it must be... But also a lot of effort to keep it wonderful!
