Meeting with the trainer at the gym went well yesterday. In additional to being super knowledgeable about the body and training, he was fairly entertaining. Set me up a routine for strength training to add to my cardio workouts. Feeling my arms a little today and an overall sense of tightness throughout my core - this is awesome! I learned about and found muscles I had no idea I had - until now I've never been interested in anatomy.. Definitely holding some water weight today, but it'l go... Lasted till 5 pm before I started eating dinner yesterday - then ate more than I would normally for dinner but I think that's a result of the strength training. Hoping to kayak tonight if the weather holds out. It's Sunny here this morning, and I'm off to a physio appointment and then home to get a few things done. Hope you all have a beautiful day too!

LOL @CrashtestDawnie - I won't likely listen 100% - but I'll aim for 80%... Essentially he told me and the other person at the meeting the same things - work on these 10 machines (showed us how) - to get a whole body strengthening workout. Some of it wasn't too hard - some of it was killer! Unfortunately I was planning to go back today but with the dog getting the ear-wax problem I ended up at the vet this morning before dropping her at the kennel instead of going to the gym. One of the disadvantages of living in the country - everything takes longer to get to - you can't do as much in a day as you would in the city... but I wouldn't trade in a million years!
