Don't know why I can't get back down to at least 200. I havn't recorded my weight in a couple of weeks but I have been tinkering back and forth between 204 and 205 and it is driving me crazy. I knew I shouldn't have recorded that 200.9 weight loss. It was only there for one day. I don't know why it got there but the day before it was 204 and the next day it was 205. It has been a frustrating couple of weeks. The only cheat I did was the day after Easter. It was a bad day but I don't think it was so bad that it should have caused me to gain like 6 lbs and still not be able to get it off. In the back of my mind I am telling myself that maybe it is muscle because I have been working out alot more. I was really active last week doing something physical every single night be it housework, Zumba, or mowing the grass. I am feeling great and still getting some great compliments. I was upset last week because I got my picture taken with Lacy Brown, contestant from American Idol, and I was so dissapointed in how I looked. I don't even look like I lost any weight at all. But after relooking at them I actually think that it is because my clothes are getting too big and baggy on my. Saturday night I had a dinner/banquet to go to for the VFW and I felt great. My sister told me that I looked great and kept commenting on how small my butt is getting! Awesome. I asked her to take a full length picture of me so I can post it on here. I have been wanting to do that ever since I started Atkins 2 1/2 months ago so that I can have comparison but just never done it. Once she sends them to me I will post. Hopefully they will be good. She was excited to do it for me and she said we'll try to take a picture with every 10lb loss. I did really well with my carbs even with my busy weekend. I ate alot but it was all Atkins friendly. I have been really hungry the past couple of days. I don't know why. I was a little down this morning and was thinking maybe I needed to go off Atkins and try something else then I went to lunch and ate such amazing food I thought how silly would that be. I have lost weight obviously from clothes if nothing else. I just need to stick with it. I thought about doing the full carb instead of net carbs but I am worried that it will be too restritive for me. I think the fact that I am doing net carbs is part of what has kept me on it this time. I did the whole carbs several years ago and even though it did work I couldn't stick with it. I'll give it some more time and then if no results I am going to have to do some tweeking.
92.6 kg Lost so far: 7.2 kg.    Still to go: 22.3 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Nino, I have been hearing a lot from people saying that they are going through similar situations as you are. I am one of them. If net carbs aren't working for you, yes you can try total and see how it affects you. It wont hurt a bit to try it. You have done a really good job so far, don't give up. We are here for you.

Nino, I also have been there, it seemed like that 200 barrier just kept avoiding me no matter what. However during that time I wasn't losing weight, I was losing inches. Remember, your losses may not show up on the scale all the time, they may show in other areas. Don't give up. I am glad I didn't.

Thanks guys I know it in the back of my mind, those thoughts just need to make it's way around to the front. LOL I know that everything is good. I feel better, and oh my the energy I have had. It is amazing. Last week I could not believe everything I did. Monday night I did a work out video (Body Electric with Margaret Richards), Tuesday night Zumba, Wednesday mowed grass and did laundry (riding mower though), Thursday Zumba and push mowed for about 1 1/2-2 hours, Friday I did house work from 5:30 pm-1:30 am (most of that time was cleaning out my son's bedroom that I havn't done since he moved out), and Saturday night I went dancing (had a great time and was excited to use some of those Zumba moves while I was dancing. LOL). I am pretty tired today but sleepy tired I actually still feel great. My body isn't tired or sore. 3 months ago there is no way I could have done all that in a week. It was killing me to get through Zumba twice a week and I'm not exagerating. I literally was dead tired for two days after each class. I know I need to just keep remembering those types of things. I just wish those stupid numbers didn't mean so much to me. I might try the total carbs if I don't see a change soon. I also saw someone post something about Dr. Atkins Fat Fast but I can't find it on here anymore. I did a little research on the internet about it. Don't know if I could do it or not. Sounds kind of add but it is only for 3-5 days. Maybe I could do it for 3 days to see if it would give me a jump but I don't want to try it until I try some other things first.

I did total for a while and I lost but it was very hard and I was very constipated and had trouble getting enough fiber so I moved on to net and I am doing fine and still losing. I think sometimes we just need to change things up for a bit of variety. But I know I am way too impatient if I don't see a loss every week. It is not realistic to expect weight losses every week regardless of what we are doing. Sometimes we need patience not variety. I'm speaking about me anyway.

That is what I am afraid of too if I go to total carb. I have had a long history of constipation and the past few years have finally been able to get past it. I am afraid if I got to total carb I will not get enough fiber. I have a little problem withthat and net carbs all ready. I think I'll be okay. Just being impatient.
