Attention Becca: O.M.G. I don't know how authentic these are but they came out ridiculous. Thank you for the tips. I did as you directed with egg yolk, flour, whipped egg white, panko. I felt extremely chefy scraping the charred skin off! The poblanos have a nice mild smoky flavor. I stuffed them with brown rice, pinto beans enchilada sauce and white Mexican cheese blend. Fried in air fryer at 400 for 25 minutes. Tried to turn them but they weren't having it so I left them.

Thank you! They came out really delicious. I realized I still messed up the dredge, lol. But next time I think I will just use flour and I will do the egg whites last, like you said, Becca. They could be a little lighter. But still they were good.

Cindylynn, I just googled chile rellenos to learn basically what to do, and I listed what ingredients and air frying time and temp, above. Try them! They are easy but also seem fancy.

Cindylynn, I just posted a pic collage (I send them to my friend, lol) so that might also help with visual. I had never had them before. I think I saw them on beat bobby flay and it made me want to try making them.
