Good morning, fs!

I have been a little depressed. The shoveling has so kicked my ass, and i feel i am still in really poor shape. Rm got home last night (with a SWEET new-to-him car). The first thing he did was shovel out the quadrant of the driveway that the unbelievably rude neighbors shovel in. Thing is, he is so skinny and does not eat nearly enough (he knows these things), yet he just goes out there and shovels this rock hard, heavy snow and salt and sand mixture from the plow for an HOUR, like it is nothing!

Anyway, it is not my body's fault that i let it get so out of shape. Also, per my gain, if you look at my journal, pretty easy to see why. I have a phone date with my sister in an hour. Sunday is usually my dor but i have been resting and resting. Gonna do 🙌🌞 and helga. I need some helga time!

I am glad rm is home, glad he got a reliable car, and the dog is over the moon. She is on high flirt alert! Hope everyone is having a great weekend! Second pic is my food pix last couple days.

Sorry for the 'dip in your mood', you will bounce back! For me, these moods are always triggered by some 'desire' (read 'expectation'), that is not being 'met'. My solution is always to back off on the expectations...

Jen, it's okay to get down at times, just make sure you don't stay there. And about rm shoveling snow, please don't compare yourself to him! I am sure there are areas in your life that you do very well and rm not so much. I know you are referring to your health/strength, but again, there are many areas where you excel when it comes to your health. When you are feeling down or stalked or even a bit defeated, please try to focus on what you have accomplished and how far you've come. The path you focus on, is the path you end up on. Hope you feel better soon. ❤

Ty @adef and @becca! I meant to say i know it is ludicrous to compare my body to his (or anyone else's). And you are right, i mean, i am smaller and more fit than i have been in about a decade, so that is something. It is just that rm was gone for 8 days and literally all i can remember is whether i was shoveling or not shoveling! Also, for the first time *ever in my life* the right parts of my body are sore (mainly my arms and shoulders) and the wrong parts (back, neck) aren't.

Jen, you’re looking slimmer every day! Don’t worry about the shoveling kicking your tail; anything you are not used to will do that. ‘Star’ athletes from town would come to the farm (where I grew up) to make a few bucks; funny how quickly they tired out and quit.
