Thank you gals! Sorry my camera and lighting are so crappy. Looks way better in person. Honestly, those little tofu, spinach and black bean dumplings are sooooo daaaaaang gooood. I think i am going to have to figure out the nutrition info, because i am going to be making them again. I even got my steamer out of semi-retirement -- i roast most of my veggies now. Ty, moops, idk how legit the sauce was but it was delish! It was a big squirt of sriracha whisked together with less-sodium teriyaki sauce and topped with scallions and crushed peanuts. I would have added cilantro but i am out.

Jen, you should be able to put the recipe into your cookbook and it will tell you the breakdown.

How do you fast that long? I mean when you get hungry- isn't it miserable? I can't seem to fast. Give me tips. :) 16 hours is all I can handle.

Ty raineybird! I know, i am just lazy, lol. @dp, other than the ~10 months i took off for bad behavior, i have been doing IF since early 2018. You can find tons of stuff on youtube about it, but basically i never liked breakfast (at breakfast time - i love it for dinner) so i started out skipping breakfast and pushing lunch back. Then i did 16:8 for a long time. Then i just gradually added more time. I honestly try to keep it simple and not sweat it if i mess up or need to eat for a social occasion or whatever. It is way more of a mental thing than physical. My body can easily live for a day without food. Also just learning not to fear hunger when it is short term. But imo 16 hours is a legit fast. From what i know, 16:8 has been clinically show to reap the benefits of fasting, above and beyond reduced calories overall (cico). Ty for asking.
