Stress eating day. Things have kind of settled down on the home front. The stressor hasn't gone away, but it doesn't seem as monumental now as it did last night and this morning.
On a brighter note, I found out yesterday that the County Fair WILL be going on this year (cancelled last year due to Covid). I've taken my grand daughter since she was 2 (she's almost 11 now), and my 5-year-old grandson since he was big enough to sit up in the stroller. It will be an expensive endeavor. Admission will be $7 each and ride tickets are $1.75 each, and the rides require 3-5 tickets per ride per person! Wristbands are $27 for unlimited rides. Plus, there's always the EXTRA things that aren't covered by the admission price or the ride tickets - camel or horse rides, jump to the moon (harnessed trampoline ride), FOOD and drinks (I'll probably BRING as many drinks as I can, though!)
The fair will be the last hoorah with my weight-loss money, since I'm getting sucked dry by the stressor situation. Great Wolf Lodge ended up costing right at $500 all totaled. Money goes fast! I'm thankful that we were able to do that with the grandkids, though, and I know they'll enjoy the fair, as well. If it wasn't for that HealthyWage money, there would have been no way we could have done either with them.
