Today was a little challenging for me, Im in a bit of a stressful situation (others would probably handle it better, but for me it causes quite a bit of anxiety). I usually stress eat, so I've been wanting to binge all afternoon 🙄 had my someone special there to talk me down which was amazing. I ended up having 2 slices of pizza and not buying a pack of durries (I've been smoke free for 5 years, bar one or two in that time) so that was a huge victory for me. But it got me thinking, what are some strategies I can implement my self when my darling isn't there to catch my fall... besides binge and stress eating I have no idea how to cope, if I'm honest.
how do you lads and ladies talk yourself down?

I googled time ideas https://organisemyhouse.com/create-some-me-time/ and have found it quite awesome. Anxiety is awlful, I too have anxiety and how I copie it to make strategies for everything. There is no one answer for us anxietists (LOL, pardon the pun), only find something that works for you. Or many somethings. I wish you all the best on your journey.... I am proud of you right now, I do not have the strength to post even my pic. So you are so far ahead of where I can't even thinnk of going

Another sufferer of anxiety
I just had an episode at work yesterday
I have been doing breathing exercises to calm me down and clear my head when I’m in that state
I used to go straight for the bag of potato chips and chocolate
Walking also works well or gardening
