Winter is almost here...missing the leaves already but it opens up my view of the mountains a bit so I can't complain about that. Rest day today or at least its suppose to be Im already getting restless and want to hit the weights to blow off some steam

Don’t know where you live but it sounds like you are headed for winter snow. I miss it living in Arizona. Looks beautiful where you are. Nothing wrong with a rest day once in a while.

golfmarina yeah we get a fair amount of snow here. If we really get dumped on its pretty nice because own a decent chunk of land on the side of a mountain and I can actually ski down my property. Clearing my steep driveway is a pain though.

As a child I remember when my dad stuck a snow shovel in my hand and invited me out to help him with the driveway. As a young adult I would clear off the sidewalk for the whole block because it was a fantastic workout. Now am too SoCal-spoiled to work in the inclement weather 😅 But like the photo, Otb! And loved that scary ski video through your woods 😮💚

JustBananas invites to help haha love it I had to help shovel all the time growing up as well. Now I pick between the atv and plow or the Snowblower depending on how deep and where the cars happened to be Parked. 😃 hopefully get some more backyard ski videos this year!! Can't wait were going to try and get both kids on the ski slope this year.

Otb, I was the oldest of 4 kids, and my dad made sure that as soon as I was tall enough or strong enough that I would take over his chores (mowing the yard, trimming, weeding the garden, shoveling, etc.). After 2 years, I would pass each chore down to my kid brother for his turn. Definitely an incentive to go away to University 😄

I understand about opening up the view. I bought property in the Ozarks in July. I am loving the views and figuring out what is what without the leaves blacking the view.
