What was your Work out of the day today? Today is my "rest" day but I don't idle well so instead I did some box jumps with a 20 lb vest on, situps on the decline bench with a 20 lb medicine ball and practiced some overhead squats with just the bar to work on my ankle mobility. I broke both my legs in multiple places back in high school and I really need to get better mobilty in my ankles if I want to add weight to the bar and do any snatches and overhead squats. Workout posts and transformation posts are my favorites so keep them comming I know there are many on here that find them very inspiring 👍

My work out consisted of an abbreviated leg day, walking miles through mid to get a tractor to pull a stuck truck out of the field and walk back after pulling it out and parking tractor.

Daddy Manatee if you bought a Ford instead of that GMC it wouldnt have gotten stuck 😄 🤣 😂 😆 jk my last truck was a gmc but I do love my f250 wayy more

Rest way had me in my feet and going…I’m at 20,682 steps and it’s not even 7pm yet.

Otb I get whatever truck is available. The flatbed came with the ranch. My ford was ok, put 200,000 miles on it. Have a dodge now. I have no brand loyalty.

Some "rest" day! Great job, though! You gave me inspiration to work my legs more, too. I also broke my leg/ankle in multiple places a few years ago & I need to strengthen it. Are squats good for that? What about skiing? The boots hold the ankles securely & the motion is mostly knees, I think. You have to be in pretty good shape, though. My plan for next year! 🤞

I helped my hubby move a 450 pound grand daddy wood stove from the house to the garage the past 2 days. I tend to get a lot of functional fitness.

Ouch! How did you break your legs in HS? I did a 10 minute warmup plus 30 workout w 10lb dumbbells which included a HIIT.

Pushing a cart through Walmart. 😂 But if I feel well enough, I will likely head to the gym in an hour to lift weights and walk on the treadmill.

Back & bicep/unicep today. Arms are up .75" and you can already see the right arm struggle. Man, I really regret not going to a better physician.

Hazel Loves Animals thanks. Skiing your foot is completely immobilized in the boot so you wouldn't have any issues as far as ankle mobilty. There are many different versions of squats you can do that require different amounts of ankle movement the ones I was working on today for me are the absolute hardest and require my ankles to move more than they are really capable of right now so I was getting in the stance and holding the position as long as possible to try and flex my ankles more and get them use to it. When I do regular back squats I elevate my heals slightly so I don't have to bend them as far. Injuries stink but its all about finding ways to work around them

MorticiaAddams functional fitness is the best kind I'm always working my butt off around our property cutting and splitting wood and lots of other stuff. That sounds like a big stove a lot bigger than mine.
