Debbie Cousins's Journal, 18 Jan 23

Weight was back down some this morning, but not as low as it was day before yesterday. It'll get there. I looked back over my Weight History and counted over THIRTY times that my weight has gone up from the day before since September. BUT, I've lost about 25 pounds during that time. The daily fluctuations are normal. I have to keep reminding myself of that.

Today was my 85th day of walking at least a mile. Day #17 since I increased it to 2.5 miles a day. I'm so thankful for the glycolpyrrolate that enables me to exert myself without become drenched in sweat. Went to the dermatologist today, and she increased my dosage from 1mg/day to 1mg TWICE a day. That should pretty much eliminate the sweating altogether. It is so freeing, and it enables me to get the exercise I've been avoiding for all of my adult life.

Knees have been doing better (in spite of having to do the stairs three times yesterday). God has brought all these things together (the decreased knee pain and the solution for hyperhydrosis) to enable me to be able to walk. He also had to give me the motivation to do it, and the determination to continue to do it on the days where I haven't felt like it for one reason or another.

ok, these dishes aren't going to wash themselves!

It's so great to hear how you are staying mobile every day! The exercise is probably helping your knees, too.
