Oatmeal doesn’t seem to work on me like it used to. A waste of over 300 calories (raisins, walnuts, butter, half n half, Truvia)! Took 3 Dulcolax this morning. Dosage for adults is 1-3 tablets, but I’ve only been taking 2. I ordered some stool softeners from Amazon, which will arrive today. LOVE their next-day delivery!

Hosting 7-year-old’s birthday 2m0. Only 8 people - all family. Having hand-tossed pizza (I would rather have deep-dish), bread sticks (which I wont have because I love to melt butter in a ramekin to dip them into), chips & dip (which I’ll pass on), cake and ice cream. I’ve allowed for two pieces of pizza in my food log, but I will probably only eat one. The birthday boy likes Pepperoni, which I don’t really care for.

I was wrong about the app allowing you to type more that wasn’t hidden text. Apparently, that is only when you’re making a comment to someone else. In your own Journal, you only get about 15 lines of text. All I can see is to “chips & dip,” so if there are any typos after that, you’ll know why.

Oh, yesterday was the 23rd. That marks my 7th month of successfully dieting. So far I’ve lost 45 pounds. I’d like to lose about 50 more. That would put me at 163, which will be the lowest I’ve been since 1984! So, I’m almost halfway there - WOOHOO!!!

If you're constipated, try 30ml of hot prune juice mixed in 30ml of milk of magnesia. Unless you're allergic. I've given that "bomb" to many patients over the years. We had standing orders for it in every facility I worked in. It works really well and won't cramp you up like most stimulant laxatives. And you might ask your doctor about taking a stool softener daily, like docusate sodium.
