Looks delicious. I am enjoying this warmer weather and am hoping it sticks around. I know it won't but it does give me hope.

All_Pain_No_Gainz I bulked for 15 weeks I was planning on 17 but cut it short Im Just mentally and physically drained from work and I just don't have the same Inensity and drive In the gym that I had previously. Switching gears to cutting has already given me a little mental kick in the butt to try harder. I gained 18 lbs during the bulk. About 5 in water the firat week and the rest a mix of muscle and fat.

I hear you on that. It's good to have a break from time to time. It's not healthy force feeding yourself for long periods of time anyways. I like 10-12wks bulk followed by quick little 2-3wk mini cuts just to get some of the jiggles out of my titties 🤣

Force feeding and stuffing myself would be pure misery. Too much physical and mental discomfort for me to handle for even a day, much less for weeks. I certainly hope you found what you were looking for doing this experiment, and also hope that you reconsider ever repeating it (cost/benefit analysis). Yo-yo dieting can be metabolism punishing. It is good to hear that you're enjoying the running -- definitely rooting for you while you Mudder train 👏🏻👁️🏆

JustBananas we will see in a few weeks if it was worth it or not. I can't see how it wasnt I definitely packed on more muscle and muscle mass Increases your metabolism so my maintenance will be higher than it was a few months ago when I'm all done. there was some force feeding In the beginning while i was still figuring things out but I tweeked my macros and food choices and spread my food across the whole day so no issues with being miserable at all and it was Great to feel full all the time. my run was Great today increased the milage from 3 to a bit over 4 and cut my pace by a 90 seconds per mile

I think people who don’t lift never understand a bulk. All part of the muscle making process. You’ve done an awesome job otb. And for those of us who lift, we know how hungry lifting can make you. 👍🏻💪🏻🤗

wifey9707 😃😃thank you!! I couldn't have possibly put any more effort into it prior to this past week and that's how I knew it was time to end it and switch gears.

Cough. I resistance train 4-6 days a week to build muscle, and have for 2 years now. Losing a ton of fat only to reverse and eat more than my body needs everyday would cause psychological and physical stress for anybody, especially as the sharp cuts start to blur. Like I said, I hope the experiment was beneficial; if not, I'm sure the Mudder training will take care of things.👁️🏆

lol are we forgetting what started this "experiment" in the first place? I cut down to a completely unhealthy and unsustainable body fat percentage and was still trying to go lower... I'm still very healthy and Incredibly fit and Incredibly well rounded In my fitness, blured Lines or not I would love to meet somone that has the dedication that I have and can go out and do all of the things I do. because i would love a partner to do them all with. There are lots of awesome lifters , runners, bikers climbers skiers hikers etc out there but how many of them can just go out and Excell at all of them? just saying not trying to brag by any means but having blurred lines isn't holding me back in the slightest bit. i ran 4 miles today and lifted hard and tomorrow ill be out pedaling 15 miles through the mountains and coming home to hit a hard leg day after I'm done and theb i will hit it hard again all week after that and on Sunday we will be back at the ninja gym swinging around. only stress I'm dealing with is work...

@Otb: why not ask around the ninja gym and see if anyone's looking for a training partner? The Mudder would probably also have a variety of talents. Your best bet is to find a young person (20's) or a divorced one that doesn't have family obligations to eat up their time.

Glad you’ve got some new excitement otb! Good luck with the transition and stop beating yourself up about the change in plans. I like to call that flexible. 😎

OTB, you have been killing it and doing so much every week. You should be proud of yourself. However, this is how I was for well over a decade. Your fitness level is amazing. But you sound like you are overtraining and robbing yourself from hypertrophy. I am finally learning to give my muscles enough rest and time to recover. It is really hard to do when you like to do a bunch of activities and work on top of it. So I understand.
I'm sure this cut will leave you with some added lean mass. If you want to add more next bulk, rest those muscles. Give them proper recovery time. Or just keep killing it and having fun. You might not gain as much but you will gain. With your intensity and strict diet, 1.5-2lbs a month of lean mass is very achievable.
