ObeseToBeast123's Journal, 18 Oct 23

Yesterdays results are in and they are shocking to say the least. The lightly toasted bread made me gain 1.2 lbs over the untoasted bread from the day before!!! I must find the break even point of toastiness if it is the last thing I do on this earth. I made it back in the lab again this morning doing some more toast testing with a moderate level of toasting done today. I do fear that todays testing may be flawed as I increased both the time of toasting as well as the proximity of the bread to the heat source. It will be difficult to distinguish which change had the greatest impact on the outcome I see on the scale tomorrow morning. Stay tuned my friends this experiment has just begun. ... too many questions and not enough answers ... too many questions and not enough answers.

To toast or not to toast. LOL. I love toast though. One of my favorite things as a child. Your toast is toasted perfect.

Can someone educate me? What happens to our bodies when bread is toasted? Why would that make a difference? Also OTB i saw you thought your calories were 252 on this breakfast (if i read that right i am, after all, blind (sort of)). If these are six whole eggs thats over 400 calories and depending on the bread 45 calories on up per slice. Could that be where you are off? That would put your breakfast at somewhere around 700 calories. Could that be part of it?

Yearofhealth2023 More like 840 calories 🤫🤫🤫 we will have to see what the toast testing reveals we are still in the beginning stages of testing to find out exactly where the changes happen.

But OTB i dont understand why toasting would make a difference? What am i missing? Also, i dont think you gained 2 pounds overnight you would have had to have an extra 7000 calories yesterday. Can you imagine that? I would have a heyday eating that much in one day tho im sure ive done it before sadly😂💪

🤣 But are there differences in results depending on whether you use a pop-up toaster, toaster oven, or your kitchen oven? How about a solar cooker? Or blow torch? I just think the science around this is so complex you could make a career out of it 🤪🤣🤣🤣

I want to do such a facinating too. What else could I use to be able to eat so much and not gain weight? Since wheat has been hybridized over 1,000 times and is now inflamatory to our bodies maybe I should look in the vegatable family. Cabbage? Onions? Jamica? Any suggestons? Honeebuns, do you think I could make money on my study too?
