Haven’t posted much lately. Kinda in another funk. I haven’t had ANY water in 3-4 days, and I’ve had 8-10 cans of Diet Coke a day. Ugh! Calories have been around 2,000+ per day. Only walking about 3 miles a day. I’ve missed the mark on Fiber and Protein goals. Not a whole lot going right. But…

…I’m all caught up on my Bible reading. I had about 3 days with ZERO knee pain, and my Physical Therapist can only justify seeing me two more times because I’ve made so much progress - full range of motion, greatly improved balance and strength.

Cooking for another birthday party today - 2 Beef Roasts, 4 XL cans of Green Beans simmered in salt pork fat back and a huge bowl of creamed potatoes. My twin friends are bringing a Corn Pudding and the cake.

Oh, and Brown Gravy, Sister Schubert Dinner Rolls, Beets and Southern Sweet Tea. I did almost all of the cleaning yesterday. Only have to vacuum and mop the kitchen today, and keep the dishes done as I dirty them up. I seared the roasts and cut up all the mushrooms and onions to go on top of them last night, so all I had to do this morning was put it all in the crockpot. We’ll have 11 people for the dinner. I made an appointment with my doctor so he can order an X-ray of my back to see if it shows any subluxation. If it does, Medicare will pay for me to have chiropractic adjustments for my mid-back pain. Still keeping heat on it whenever I’m in my recliner. Ok, back on to party preparation!

Hey Debbie! I fell off the wagon for two weeks and gained 5 lbs. I don't know what it is, but it happens sometimes. Let's try and get back on track. We can do it!

I also am having bread products some days and had wine and a couple of desserts for my Birthday. Gained 3 lbs. But I think I am back on track now with autophagy. There's a good video on Youtube: "80 lbs lost with & withOUT Autophagy" with Dr. Boz. One went from a 14 to a 4. The other one only went down 1 size because of all the extra skin, plus the skin wasn't connected to the muscle. I am thrilled you didn't have knee pain for at least a couple of days. It sounds optimistic for the future. Some things are going better here.
