northland78's Journal, 03 Nov 19

108 days since my last weigh in and 108 days of extremely bad eating carbs, sugars, junk, takeaway, bread 👎 basically a shit show of everything I stopped eating on Nov 16 2018 when I started my journey. My hospital stay in July resulted in me needing an iron transfusion which kicked in 10 days after I had it. unfortunately once my iron levels picked up I wanted to eat anything and everything I craved for months and once sugar was back on the menu through fried bread, pancakes, cakes and doughnuts the weight kept climbing to where it is today 🆙. On Sept 1st I did the longest walk/run of my entire life up hills and rough terrain feeling the fittest I've ever been to running 3metres the other day feeling all the excess weight I had lost all back again feeling gross. The week following my long walk/run achievement every part of my body ached and I could barely walk, my upper thighs and calf muscles were in excruciating pain and my left shoulder was in agony. Cut this long story short after 25yrs and 3 attempts I finally got my learner's license at 40 years of age and I'm determined to get a job and start driving and gaining independence ive craved all my life. I know once I feel better about my health and fitness everything else will fall into place. I long for my mental strength back to where it was 4 months ago when I would save so much money by not wasting it on fattening food and eating cos I was bored n baked sugar treats to help fulfill the boredom. My 41st bday is at the end of the month and Xmas isnt far away so I would like to enjoy a nice meal for both these celebrations because I deserve to without feeling guilt. 108 days later I am restarting my health and fitness lifestyle Today is day 1 😁
