Retaining fluid, even though not drinking Diet Coke in 19-1/2 days. Also, woke up at 11pm, and GOT up at 2am - that's when I weighed, so it was more of a nighttime weight than a morning weight, Hopefully, it will be down some tomorrow.

Having new fridge/freezer delivered tomorrow. Lots of work today, getting all the contents of the fridge into bags, and setting them on the shelves, so I can quickly remove all of the food tomorrow so they can take away the old one (for a $30 recycling fee - better than having my husband hurt his back or shoulder trying to move it himself).

I'd pay $30 for them to haul my fridge off, money well spent 😂. Good luck! I hope your food survives being rehomed.

Good morning Debbie, hope all goes well with the 'fridge delivery. 💛

Thank you, @Eidetiker and Shirley! I've thrown away everything that had gotten icy inside, and Everything else is in bags in the fridge and freezer, ready to be easily lifted out for them to remove the old one, and to easily put into the new one (still in the bags, so the items can keep each other cold/frozen, while the new one gets to the right temperatures). I'm thankful that I had bought some gardening gloves the other day (and hadn't used them yet), so they were able to protect my hands from the cold as I handled all 437 items (well, it SEEMED like that many).

That's pretty cute you added the 1/2 day to your refraining from Diet Coke, and congratulations. What brand of refrigerator did you buy? It's so hard to know what/which to buy these days, with the problems of merchandise coming from China. I hope you are happy with it. I guess nothing is ever perfect. If it stays cold enough in the summer, and isn't too loud we should be happy.

Hi, @Snowwhite100, we opted for a Samsung refrigerator. Of the models with the features we wanted (over 24.0 cu.ft capacity, French upper doors, bottom freezer, in-door ice and water dispenser), it was the least expensive - tied with another model, but that one only had a wire rack in the freezer for a "drawer" and I was afraid things would fall off of it and end up BEHIND the drawer. I can't remember if I went back in and REposted yesterday about the delivery debacle but it should all be straightened out sometime today, and we'll get back $225.34 for our trouble, Praise the Lord. I also realized that I could have gotten it "Tax exempt" because it is for the church parsonage, so I'm going to go to Customer Service on Monday, and get them to take off the $131.34 and credit it back to the card. All in all, a $2,399 refrigerator WITH a 3-year service contract ($179.97) AND removal of old one ($30) AND a $50 online rebate because it is an "energy saver" model, will end up costing us right around $2,000 instead of over $2,700 (they also gave us a $300-off discount in the store). God is good! All things work together for good! If we get another economic stimulus, we'll be able to get a new dishwasher, too. Ours croaked a couple of weeks ago, but I've been doing a good job on washing them by hand. I miss the "sterilization" from the super hot water in the DW though. It's good for getting odors out of things (like onions on the cutting board). OK, time for breakfast (4:30am) Still not sleeping as long as I WAS, but still getting a good 9 hours in a night.
