Seems like a good loss for a week that has been an emotional roller coaster. Lost a friend and coworker in serving funeral dinners for church families. This meant honoring her service with a large dinner for 60. Between cooking and organizing not enough sleep. Physically and emotionally taxing, all of which added up to overeating Monday and Tuesday. No regrets, for the way we honored her. However better coping skills and time management will be necessary in the future. I then spent the balance of the week in calorie jail, resting and trying to to get back on track.
I have been working on being more honest with myself. I have lost 60# and kept it off thru loosing my mom and the pandemic, Hubby's double bypass a year ago and all of the crazy attached to life in general. Now it is time to get back to the 35# extra that I am still carrying. Would really like to see some muscle tone in the bargain. Change is the only Constant. Now is the time, before bad habits settle in!
I am adjusting to a new lifestyle as hubby and I have been working opposite shifts at high stress, long hour positions for years. Excuses are gone. We both retired in April. Now we have no excuse for not getting healthy. I know what needs to be done, implementing it in a way that is compatible for both of us is the challenge.
102.2 kg Lost so far: 1.6 kg.    Still to go: 16.1 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
