SLYONE 22's Journal, 04 Nov 21

No change for over 2 weeks. Some what frustrated. Logging everything as close as possible. Had a great weekend celebrating belated hubby's birthday, our anniversary (48 yrs), son and DIL anniversary (18 yrs) and DIL birthday. Red Lobster and Red Robin treat meals. Stayed within +/- 150 calories of allotted. Walked and on our feet most of the time.
This week I have been cutting back on calories and trying to be more active, still fluctuating between 216 and 217. So irritated yesterday that I had an "ANGRY DAY"! I ate CRAP all day, was still only 50 calories over.
REALLY hard to keep at it and not see the results!
It is Back to the plan today!
Something better change SOON! True temper tantrums happen on the floor... Then you just have to get back off of the floor!

Don’t give up. Try something different you got the calories down just modify the time of day you’re eating it. Eat all your carbs before 1:30pm and just have protein the rest of your meals. Plus eat when you’re really hungry it makes a difference with your insulin spiking. See if that works

Thank you XR! No giving up here! I'm down almost 80# in the last 2.5 years. Stress wasn't much of a factor in that time. It could be playing a part now. Just found out I have to have a breast biopsy and hubby is pre diabetic. He's not as cooperative as he could be about lifestyle changes. I know I have to wait for him to get there but I don't wait well. I also live in a medical desert so I also have to wait for a scheduler to let me know when I can get the biopsy. Patience is not my long suit. I consciously know that I need to let go and let God... I just struggle with the illusion of control!
