I'm very interested in how you get on with using the Fast 800 approach as I am going to be using this...starting tomorrow. I have the fast 800 recipe book by Dr Claire Bailey and Justine Pattison as well as the 5:2Recipe book.

Ooh, yes, we'll have to compare notes. My best bud said she was about to do Fast 800 and recommended the book. I've followed Michael Mosley's research for awhile through BBC. Read the book and... I'm in. Sounds like you are well prepared with recipes and I'm guessing their macro ratios have been worked out by nutritionists.
