Disgust is not useful. Assessment and course correction is. You need not beat up on yourself to get back on track 👍

I totally agree with WW we are human and life happens! Enjoy your trip off of your chosen path. Maybe try not to stray to the point of discomfort. Don't beat yourself up. Just be committed to correcting your course when the celebration is over. If you can't enjoy the life you are living it's time for reassessment.

Try to not beat yourself up over enjoying a celebratory meal. Eat the food at the Wedding but maybe not to the point of feeling uncomfortable. Special occasions come & we are allowed to enjoy them....No Guilt!

Shouldn’t be disgusted. It takes constant binging to get fat and you can’t be too stiff on your journey, stiffness tends hold just enough before it to breaks, be flexible. You over ate, so be it. Get back on track and each time it happens you’ll develop more control. Don’t let it break you and you’ll be successful

I know that feeling, and I hate it. Writing is right. Embrace it and learn from it. You know tonight you will be in a social situation with food and drink, so how can you realistically navigate today, to avoid this feeling tomorrow? It’s not a failure if you LEARN from it!

You are human. Try to be kind to yourself in these moments. ❤️

Don’t be so hard on yourself! I know there’s guilt associated w eating foods we know aren’t good for us, especially after working so hard to lose weight but special occasions should be allowed and enjoyed. :) Like EggBeater42 said, even if you gain you know how to lose too!

You already doing so well my friend. Just a little hiccup. You know you can deal with it letter so enjoy the moment. I suggest not to weigh yourself this few days, maybe that can ease your stress. cheers😊

Thank you everyone for the comments and support. The wedding was great and I ate pretty well at it. I took it eaSy at cocktial hour and didnt eat any of the stuff that would really do some damage. Nothing remotely like the disaster the day before. My body is not use to eating lots of rich greasy and cheesy foods and I went way overboard on them. 5 course meal plus I ate an entire appetizer serving plate of fried Calamari, and ended the night with not 1 one but 2 peices of cheese cake. It was also hard to eat like crazy ar the wedding when the entire night every conversation with every person is saw was them saying holy crap you look amazing how much weight did you lose and how are you doing it! Anyway I'm back on track with a nice reminder that my body knows it doesn't want the crap in it. Time to start burning off the weight gain and unleash those lower abs that are just begging you be let out.
