Today was kind of a lazy day. I did get in my mile and a half of walking - 15th day in a row. 26th day of walking at least a mile. I'm really pushing my goal of keeping my average daily calories at 1,500 this week. Only 35 calories of wiggle room left for adjustments to Saturday and Sunday's menus. Gonna be a close one.

What is everyone's plan for Thanksgiving? I'm going to have low calorie days on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (target is 1,233 calories). On Thursday, I'm going to try to practice portion control. I'm allowing for 1/2 slice of pecan pie and 1/2 slice of Rum Cake (if I make it). Accommodating turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans and Amaretto Yams. I think I'll skip the dinner roll, pass on the Corn & Butter Beans (just because I have butter beans every night already). Might try my SIL's Apple & Sausage stuffing, just so I can see what it tastes like.

Not sure what I'll do for the rest of the week, which makes me a little nervous! I usually plan out my entire week in advance, but I don't know what the leftover situation will be like, and I would like to at least fit in a turkey sandwich with mayonnaise. I'm praying we all stay on track with our WOE's and that we get through the holiday feeling good about the choices we've made!

BTW, I use the three-bite rule for extra foods; three normal bites, eaten consciously and savored. Works for me.
