jengetfit123's Journal, 04 Dec 22

Not gonna lie, I have been frustrated with the scale, the tape measure and myself. Had to give myself a talking to last weekend because I was feeling so bummed out.

I haven't seen much progress in the last few months (and I am eating too many calories), but otoh, I have maintained my lowest weight in more than a decade, so that's something. Also tracking everything daily and walking for an hour and a half, plus whatever other activity I can get in. Mostly NEAT, but I can move more easily. And even it the (mumble mumble) tape measure isn't moving either, my clothes are fitting better.

Attitude adjusted, but also looking forward to a drop. Let's step it down now.

Sometimes we just need that talk with ourselves. Tough love 💚. Like your progress, Jen, and sounds like your walking is consistent for weight loss. If portion sizes or quantity is the next project to tackle, we are here for you!

Oh My Friend, you have done a fantastic job! At times it can be so complicated and at other times it's a breeze. Adjustments with new strategies seem to always be needed. I know you can figure out your next step (pun intended 😉).

Don't minimize the maintenance achievement. Many more people can lose weight than keep it off. M Keep going, make adjustments as you see fit, but don't skip the pat on the back for KEEPING weight off 👏👏👏

Huge achievement losing the weight and keeping it off! That’s way bigger than a few lbs. It seems that you have that part down and you’re ready to go again. Maybe Mr. Simmons can raise your spirits! 💃😊

Eventually, I believe that you achieved a lot of good things for your body than what you judge now yourself. Don't try to drag yourself into a negativity with any reasons. Kudos to you!👍💖

Ty everyone! I really appreciate the support. Seems like, for whatever reason, I have a "glass floor" that I just have to outlast or outwork. Ha ha thrilled at the brief Jimmiepop sighting 🤩🤩. Did you all see him too?

Good to see you, Jen! It’s actually wonderful that you have found a solid maintenance plan, and that you continue keeping good records. You can keep that up and just make small tweaks that are reasonably comfortable, without any big changes, and the scale and tape will move for you. Chances are good your body is busy adjusting to your current figure and, once it’s finished, will start changing again with what you are already doing.
