pancakesquabble's Journal, 03 Dec 21

Its been less than a year since I've been diagnosed with PCOS (despite me telling the doctors for well over 10years that something is wrong), this morning I was waiting at white cross with sharp pains in my side and I was told its because of a ruptured cyst 🥴 so I've been out of action for the whole day, it puts into perspective how much of my KJ burnt comes from my job alone and also it shocks me knowing that for the most part of my adult life ( I'm currently 28) I have been massively over eating without even being aware of it! and then to top it off I used to binge eat disgusting amounts at least 3-4 times a week! It's frustrating that the one thing we need to live is also the one thing many (myself still included) struggle with. Its quite confronting and a bit upsetting. Everyone doing it tough out there today, just remember small changes work wonders to the big picture and that even if you stumble today, tomorrow is another day 😀

My sister also has PCOS and it has really affected her weight. I've seen the emotional toll it can take on a person. I don't know personally what it is like to have PCOS, but I have seen the effects of the feelings that are involved and even the mental blocks that can be thrown into the mix. Keep up the good work!! 💙 You aren't alone.
