away at work conference had a good eating day despite lots to choose from am accepting that losing weight is hard work and i am up for it feeling focused and committed listening to a really good motivational book called "the little blaxk book of workout motivation by michael matthews i recommend it is really helping my with mindset no nonsense approach that appeals to me one of the questions is what are you prepared to sacrifice ? it really got me thinking in a good way and also how many goals do you set at one time i am cleqr only 1 goal for me right now healthy weight i will do whatever it takes have never had that degree of resolve before touch wood..
i am feeling like doing excercise on the bike when its cold at night is something i niw accept i will do like it or not on any given day after work i think it improves my character and can see how this dicipline helps me in life generally i can see how some of the leqrnings are transferable i think if i can persevere and acheive my goal it gives me xonfidence i can axheive other things i am starting to get xomments that i am fading away which isnt actually accurate i have a ways to go buy nice to hear none the less is encouraging i am just saying i am working on gaining a healthy weight for heqlth reasons which is true i have high cholesterol, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes and gout not flash, i am going to see GP on friday and want to get a full blood screen and hope my numbers are improving i am detemined to get off as many of the meds as i can i am 57 and dont want to be a decrepid old man am grateful i have a place to express these things with supportive peers through this medium

I saw gp yesterday and he took me off blodd pressure pills! I got a full bllod screen so will have the results on monday i am hoping mu cholestrol and blood sugar results have improved. In yerms.of excercise days i do this pretty much every day now what is yoyr opinion about rest days? I want to keep my momentum going however had a big week and big sleep today and still feeling tired

Woop woop! That's excellent news - congratulations! Personally, I think rest days are good for healing and recovery... and can actually make exercise days more effective. There's always "active" recovery days, i.e. a relaxing walk outside, some mild stretching etc. Still moving and keeping loose without taxing the body. Hope the cholesterol and blood sugar results are as good as the blood pressure. 😊
