Well, I made it through today. After I wrote this morning's Journal entry, I was in a life-or-death struggle with the temptation to go to Cracker Barrel and get Pecan Pancakes with three syrups. It would have made my calories for the day over 2,600 calories. Thank the Lord that my best friend in California just "happened" to wake up at 5:30am her time (usually gets up at 9 or 10), and she was there when I really needed a friend to talk me through the powerful temptation.

I did indulge in an extra Diet Coke today, but I stayed the course on eating and ended the day with 1,638 calories. No BM today, so I'm trying to be prepared for another ominous number on the scale in the morning. Knee still giving me a fit. Hopefully, tomorrow will be a better day!

Thank you to all the many people who took the time to encourage me today. I appreciate each comment, and all the support you give.

Have a wonderful Friday!!!🙂 Once a,week weigh in is great advice, I am guilty of weighing myself every morning. There is water weight fluctuations. I do a fatsecret weigh in now every Monday.

For me, it would have to be the Waffle House pecan pancakes, but fortunately the nearest Waffle House is 45 miles away. Good for you for slowing yourself down, thinking about it in light of your goals, and choosing against it. You're making great strides 😊👍
