Weighing in a day early because the scale gods smiled on me this morning.

I am going to a small, postponed, funeral for my roommate's uncle today. I am a little freaked out because I literally have not been around people for 15 months. Plus it is going to be 100° today, ugh. I will try to keep to my program, but it may be a struggle. Even though I am down 38# from my all time high, my clothing options are still limited because I am still fat!

Oh Jen, so sorry about RM's uncle. It's only one event, one day. You will do fine, because you know how to be fine. Eat before you go, bring healthy snacks and water. Many people are still being very cautious, so hopefully being around others won't be a problem and if it is, you can simply slip away to a quiet spot or stick to one person. I'm thinking it will be a low-key gathering, it being a funeral. ❤

I, too was nervous about being around people again. I wore my mask at church on Sunday and social distanced, but that night I went to a crowded restaurant and was convinced (by my companions) to take it off and trust the vaccine.

"Still fat"... only because you aren't finished. On a long drive, you don't get frustrated that you aren't at your destination because you know it's still ahead. Keep your goal on the map and keep on truckin', dude!

well here I a m new to this sight. I have always struggled with my weight. I recently had an ankle replacement so no Gymn for awhile I made up an excuse that I can't work out in fact I can just need to be creative to keep intrest. I also quit smoking before the surgery so that adds on to food cravings. But I have to do this!! positive today to get heathy.

Funerals are never easy. I never know what to wear. Some people insist black isn’t necessary anymore. But my wardrobe consists of jeans, t-shirts, long sleeve shirts, some sweaters and church clothes. So I get the limited. But listen 38 pounds off is nothing to sneeze at!! That’s fantastic!! And a 4 pound drop is really great!! Congrats to you!!

Thank you, fs!! It was in one of the cousins' back yards and hot as hades, but they told people to be sure to go inside for AC. Ty for the understanding about clothes dilemma. I found a dress that worked. A lot of people were basically dressed for a BBQ.
