It does get harder I guess the more you lose weight, but it’s not bad you kind of figured it out and it comes off slowly but Surely

I don't know what way-of-eating you are following... I've found TRE (time restricted eating) a game changer for me. Began on restricted calories (Fast800) to give myself a kick(up the butt)start. But actually increasing my calories as I get closer to goal weight and still losing - trying to mitigate loose skin. Mediterranean style eating with a focus on lower carbs, decent amount of protein and healthy fats. Friends of mine are doing TRE with healthy-ish eating, no calorie counting and also experiencing steady weight loss. Also known at IF, intermittent fasting. Dr. Mindy Pelz has some good YouTube vids on how the body works with TRE.

https://www.calculator.net/bmr-calculator.html I use this to calculate my BMR it comes out close to my Fitbit so I think it’s accurate. As you lose weight you need less to survive yes. In the end see what your BMR is and keep a 500 cal defecit to lose weight. So if your BMR is 2100 you would want about 1600 cals to lose weight. 2100 to maintain etc it also calculates your activity

thanks anon00. I've got so much to learn about losing weight. I had heard of BMI but never heard of my BMR. Googled it and it makes sense so thanks 🙂

Glad it helps it’s what I use and everytime I dropped 5 kilos I’d calculate it again but now I’m so close to my normal weight I don’t see it changing much more. The maintenance calories work fine for me. https://www.losertown.org/eats/cal.php This site also lets you enter your weight and age and height and daily intake and it lets you see how that will effect your weight over the next 15 weeks. It’s really useful too
